Bongani Gosa
Founder – CEO
Bongani Gosa is the Founder and Creative Director of BWD Advertising; a full service communication agency that helps businesses and people to grow. Under Bongani’s leadership, BWD has shown extraordinary growth for a business of its size and humbly boasts numerous exceptional achievements. This includes being featured in a major publication like Financial Mail, several published opinion pieces, landing blue chip clients including a conglomerate like T-Systems and Wits and creating award-winning work that resulted in UJ scooping up a MACE award. Bongani also believes in paying it forward by sharing what he has learnt through internship programmes, complementary speaking and a NPO named “Each on Teach One” – that offers free mentorship to other struggling entrepreneurs.
Sibusiso’s professional history is a case in point for the phrase: “the harder I work, the luckier I get.” He started working as a data capturer in high school already and from there, he kept on putting in the elbow grease required – to maximise every opportunity that came his way.
Apart from his dogged persistence and devotion to “work as hard as it takes,” Sibusiso’s humility has to be a sure contributor to his success. He prefers to talk about “lessons learnt” rather than “achievements.” He also believes one should learn a new skill every year, instead of sitting on your laurels and thinking “I have arrived.” Plus, rather than blowing his own trumpet, he prefers to measure himself by the growth and results achieved for clients.
