BWD May 2018 Newsletter

Since our first tv commercial went live last month, we constantly get asked on all our commz platforms: “how much does it cost to make a TV advert?”

The question sounds simple enough, but the answer to that, is not so simple. So, my partner-in-crime Sibusiso Radebe, AKA “Sbu,” has written an article to explain the mechanics and dynamics of producing a TV advert, which includes all the variables that influence the final cost.

Just so you know, it will take you about 20 minutes to read. Plus he included some clips of TV adverts that we think are really good. So do take a look at it, when you have a moment to kick back and relax.

We’re excited to also announce that at the start of this month, we’ve opened an office in Cape Town in Black River Park. Our main objectives with this new office are two-tiered.

Firstly we aim to fast-track our growth. Secondly, and perhaps most importantly, we wish to make the services of a well-established 100% black-owned and operated advert agency more accessible to those clients who wish to support the transformation of the Marketing, Advertising and Communication industry.

For those of you who are in the area, have a lookout for our new billboard on the N2, as you are driving from the CBD towards the airport. The thing is though, we all prefer to work with someone that comes recommended, so if you know of any brands that are looking for an agency with a fresh perspective, please do ask them to get in touch with us.

As a marketing expert, Sbu will also be sharing his knowledge as a speaker at the upcoming Marketing Indaba conference, in both Cape Town and Joburg. So if you’re going to be there as well, let us know, as we’d love to connect with you.

We trust that you find the article on the TV advert insightful, but please feel free to get in touch with us at any time, for any further assistance or information on the production of TV adverts.

Warm regards,
Bongani Gosa
CEO
